Working as bartender is a fun, fast-paced and engaging job role. It requires clear communication skills, good personal confidence, strong customer engagement skills, a friendly and outgoing personality and a strong knowledge of the different types of wines, beers and spirits that are served in many bars, clubs, hotels and restaurants across the UK.
As a bartender with GIG you will be responsible for delivering great customer service, producing drinks to the required menu specification in a friendly and engaging manner. It often requires you to think on your feet, offering customers drinks recommendations and options.
At GIG you will get to choose where and when you work, this will enable you to work across a variety of four and five-star establishments, working at some of UK’s top hospitality and events venues to improve and grow your knowledge and skills.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have clear communication skills, patience and attentiveness. You will be happy working in a fun, fast-paced and unpredictable environment managing multiple orders at once while delivering high-quality drinks, cocktails and wine recommendations. You must be able to think on your feet and work well with the entire staff.​

Smart and professional black trousers
Smart buttoned shirt with collar - black or white shirt only
Black tie

Appearence Guidelines
Hair/Facial Hair
Hair styles must be neat and professional. Tied back & behind ears for women. Neat or tied back for Men. Facial hair must be neat or clean shaven when specified. ​
Makeup/Nails
Makeup must be clear, clean and plain - minimise heavy eyeliner/shadow. Nail varnish must be a natural colour & have no chipping. ​
Jewellery/Tattoos
Keep jewellery to a minimum (wedding ring/watch allowed). Tattoos should be minimised where possible. ​
